General Rules for the Protection of Personal Data

When processing personal data the controller shall act in accordance with the national law of the Slovak Republic and with the law of the EU and to the highest extent possible shall respect the privacy of data subjects and protect their personal data which were provided to the controller and are being processed.
Reasons for Processing Personal Data
Processing personal data that we obtained and were provided is part of our business activities. Without being able to process personal data that were provided to us, we cannot provide services to our clients to the extent required.
The Basis for Processing Personal Data
The current legislation allows for the processing of personal data based on law (i.e. without the consent of data subjects) or based on the consent of data subjects.
Processing personal data based on law means that we can process your personal data even without your consent in order to carry out our business activities. The respective legal provisions that concern our activities (services) form the basis for processing operations.
If there are no legal reasons for processing personal data without your consent, we may process your personal data only after you have given us your consent.
Disclosure to Third Parties
It might happen that when we process your personal data, they might be processed by third parties in cases when it is necessary for the fulfilment of our obligations towards you, our clients or for the provision of our services. When choosing our partners, we pay heed that a high level of personal data protection is maintained.
Personal data of data subjects may be processed within the countries of the European Union and within countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Transmitting personal data to third countries may occur only if the European Commission deems their legal regime as having an adequate level of personal data protection.
How to Handle Personal Data
The controller processes your personal data manually or by using electronic systems. The controller takes not only all technical measures but also all personal and controlling steps necessary for maintaining the highest level of personal data protection.
Rights of Data Subjects
Data subjects have the right to:
- request from the controller access to personal data concerning them,
- rectify, erase or restrict the processing of personal data,
- object to the processing of personal data
- portability of personal data,
- lodge a complaint or commence in legal proceedings with a supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection,
- withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

Without undue delay the controller shall inform the data subject of a personal data breach if such a personal data breach might cause a high risk to the rights of data subjects.
