Kapitalks: Can a robot write?

If the computer would combine letters unstoppably and store them in chains, it would write all the books of the world – those already written and those yet nonexistent. However, with the development of general artificial intelligence, a new question arises. Can a robot create in another way than the simply combinatorial?
