The debut edition of the digital exhibition Extended addressed multiple contemporary themes
The first edition of the new digital exhibition titled Extended, organized by LIITA Co., took place from May 18–21, 2025, in the foyer of Kasárne / Kulturpark. The event featured the premiere of Co-Feeling by Martin Kolčák—a procedural 3D animation exploring the relationship between humans and their environment through the contrast between real measured temperature and subjectively perceived “sensory” temperature. The visualisation works with environmental data such as UV index and stress levels, reflecting the impact of climate on both physical and mental well-being.
Mifekron (Miroslav Fek) presented his Omikrons series, which examines the bond between mother and offspring in a surreal world. His work blends technical precision with subtle humor and a sense of intimate, universally relatable emotion. Cassiopeus (Ľuboš Oravec) brought his visually striking dystopian-futuristic aesthetic, merging melancholy, retro-punk, and technological surrealism into a unique visual language in his 3D works.
Dávid Kuriško embarked on an adaptation of the classic Dante’s Inferno, digitally reinterpreting it through animation, spatial sound, and visual poetry.
